ThinkHouse PR Should Converse
ONE OF THE BEST ways Thinkhouse PR could clean up its online reputation is to engage in conversation with the stream of commentary written about its business practises concerning e-mail spam. Several prominent Irish bloggers have written about Thinkhouse's tendency to fill inboxes with spam instead of useful public relations content. Damien Mulley has explained as much but it appears that Google has dumped Mulley's criticism from its results, along with everything else he posted on 23 August 2006.
From Mulley's posting of 23 August 2006 comes the fact that Thinkhouse PR has sent unsolicited emails concerning Imagine broadband, Ben and Jerry's ice cream. the mobile telephone operator 3, and MovieStar.ie.
Mulley has asked the Data Protection Commissioner to investigate this and carry out a prosecution if needs be. Mulley's written statements show a pattern of behaviour throughout Thinkhouse PR that appears to contravene Irish spam legislation. Irish bloggers should consider stoking a meme by hyperlinking the term "Thinkhouse PR" to Mulley's 23 Aug 06 blog post on the company's suspect practises. And once proper order is restored to the Google database, Mulley's view of THPR will return to search engine results.
