A clearinghouse site discusses whether President Bush uses an earpiece through which he's fed lines and cues by offstage advisers. His speech rhythms suggest this, as do some of his word choices and interjections, and his constantly shifting eye movements while speaking. And there's another form of evidence: Television viewers have sometimes heard another voice speaking Bush's words before he says them. And CSPAN have a photo of a bulge between his shoulder blades.
After reading the fascinating speculation, it makes you want to bring a frequency hopper to a Bush event and determine what's open in the RF space around the President.
The discussion of "Is Bush Wired" attracted more than 5000 people a day to this blog item for the three days after it was published, pushing this little weblog through the 200,000 visitor mark. More than 15000 people viewed the (could be Photoshopped) image. It's good to know that Typepad blogs can accommodate 11000 visitors per day. Other websites collapse when deluged with visitors.
