David Vise writes an interesting story about Google, the company that many living in my neighbourhood think is the internet. Vise takes readers inside the creation of a company whose operations in Ireland have brought millions of research dollars into the country, employing dozens of fresh-faced PhDs in the process. The Google Story explains more about how a populist media company, fueled by advanced technology, has revolutionalised information access. And for me, Google is suggesting a pathway of personal exploration that could add another 10 years to my lifespan.
I like this book--it's the first one I've bought with a 13-digit ISBN code. I like Google too because I can find most things without typing 13 words in its search bar.
